Most biopharmaceuticals require high-priced and frequent treatments. Hanmi has focused on the research of long-acting platform technology and succeeded in developing LAPSCOVERY, which can be applied to various protein or peptide drugs. LAPSCOVERY technology exceeds the concept of sustained-release formulation in maintaining the efficacy of biopharmaceuticals for extended periods of time, overcoming the inconvenience of frequent dosing and increasing the value of medication. A number of protein or peptide drug candidates have been generated and some of them are in preclinical trials.
