In the field of NCE research, Hanmi has targeted its research on anticancer drugs.
Hanmi succeeded in the development of a novel P-glycoprotein inhibitor, HM30181A. Using this molecule, Hanmi discovered ORASCOVERY, the platform technology that enables the new development of orally available drugs. Recently, Oraxol¢â, the orally administered form of Paclitaxel, and Oratecan¢â, the orally administered form of Irinotecan, are in clinical trials.

Hanmi is also developing ¡®targeted anticancer drugs¡¯ which block the action of tumor growth factors using advanced drug discovery technologies such as molecular modeling and combinatorial chemistry.
One of the candidates having potent activities against EGFR mutant cells, HM781-36B, is ongoing
phase¥°clinical trials in Korea.
