We have successfully completed separate registration on July 5, 2010 while we divided on July 1, 2010 by spin-off. In order to enhance professionalism of each business department and fulfill our responsible management, Hanmi operates business unit such as manufacturing/sales of pharmaceutical products and investment unit separately.

After its division, we have changed our company name to Hanmi Science and Hanmi Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd., for newly created company by spin-off. As of July 1, most of major business for manufacturing and sales of pharmaceutical products are transferred to Hanmi Pharmaceutical.

According to the monopoly regulations and fair trade law, Hanmi Science submitted authorization request to Fair Trade Commission in April, and was approved of its conversion to a holding company in May, 2010. A holding company is a company which controls local companies' business by owning their outstanding stocks.

There are four affiliates of Hanmi Science, Eremurus, Hanmi Japan Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd, Hanmi Europe Ltd., etc., that are listed and not yet listed as corporation of Hanmi Pharmaceutical. Pre-existing non-listed Hanmi Fine Chemical Co., Ltd and Beijing Hanmi Pharmaceutical Co. were transferred as affiliates of Hanmi Pharmaceutical.

Through the spin-off in July 1, 2010, we have set our management system to focus all capabilities on improving affiliates' value as a holding company.

Hanmi Science will always be faithful to its duties. We will maximize our corporate value by increasing corporate governance transparency, and sophisticate Hanmi's business divisions and intensive investments to promising future business with responsibility and professionalism.
