To Our Dear Shareholders:

I would like to express my deepest gratitude to our valued shareholders of Hanmi Science. Together as one, we have sailed through challenges owing to your continued and passionate support.

For the past two years, Hanmi Science has laid down the secure foundation important for stable expansion of Hanmi Group, while at the same time maximising the cooperation and efficiency of management between Hanmi Pharmaceutical and Beijing Hanmi.

As a reward for those efforts: Hanmi Pharmaceutical was successful in exporting the technologies of its novel pharmaceuticals creations: oral form of oncology medications and biologics candidate for the treatment of neutropenia. As for Beijing Hanmi, its growth has continued with the company’s worth now exceeding USD $88 millions in value.

Hanmi Science will continue with its active role in harmonizing the cooperation between its subsidiaries, in support of the ongoing developments of Hanmi Group as a whole.

1) Focus and Realisation of R&D and Global Capabilities

Hanmi Pharmaceutical is to heighten productivity of its open R&D strategy and strengthen the R&D network with Beijing Hanmi. Efforts in new drug development are to be advanced through effective in and out-licensing strategies employed for the 12 existing pipelines.

2) Greater Allocation of R&D Resources to Biological and Healthcare Areas, its utilisation as the Link to Business Model for New Value Creation.

Hanmi Science shall gather its competencies from Healthcare science, and contribute to the long term happiness of mankind through their positive commercialisation. Every member of Hanmi Science does their utmost to achieve the ideal of Value Science.

In order to bring the promises of Hanmi Science into fruition, maximum efforts from enterprise-wide are united, with our ideals to be realised alongside your cherished support. Once again I would like to offer to our shareholders my sincere gratitude for choosing to journey through these exciting challenges and accomplishments with Hanmi Science.
